Pregnant women ARE smug!
Dear friends and God,
Please help me not to be like the women this song was written about. It's hilariously true, though!

Wow. That was fast!
Guess I'm going to have to get into Mom Blog Mode now vs. Trying to Conceive Blog Mode.

Hubs and I are going to make a funny video tonight to do a proper internet announcement later. My world just got rocked. Way to go, small human that I'm growing INSIDE OF ME.

What's that old saying? Don't judge a book by it's cover?
I went to Half Price Books the other day, and I saw a giant stack of the infamous "What to Expect When You're Expecting" books.

We're not expecting, and truly I don't expect to expect any time soon, but I went ahead and bought one of these books because I'd really like more than nine months to educate myself. Can you guess which edition I bought? Go ahead. Guess!
Did you guess A) the young, smiling mom who's out and about, wearing jeans and heels? Or did you guess B) the exhausted mom who looks a little cranky in her rocking chair, wearing her husband's old sweater? If you guessed A... you're correct! Yeah, without hesitation, I got the one of the left. I know the one on the right may paint a more accurate photo of pregnancy, but gosh. I hope I never resort to wearing Hub's old sweaters!

After being eight weeks late on my monthly cycle, I finally took one of these:
The results:
Double negative! But, officially, the race has begun. May my womb and future children win!

I'm Indiana. He's Hubs.
We like to tell people we met at Space Camp.

We became friends in 2000, started dating in 2001, and got engaged and married in 2004. According to a life plan that Hubs made when he was a lot younger (and before he knew me), this is the year we're supposed to have children.
I started The Wonder Love because I was getting concerned that people may think I only care about clothes. This is a place where our far off friends and families can keep up with us. This is a spot where you can get to know us better. This is a spot where I can still be silly, but I can also talk about things that are vital to my life: my faith and my marriage. Who knows? Maybe one day this will be a spot where you can see our family grow.
